SIAV SpA, software development and computer services company specialized in electronic document management and conservation of historical and artistic heritage, announces that a distribution agreement has been signed with Zeutschel GmbH, company specialized in providing systems for analog and digital preservation of documents.
The agreement covers marketing, pre-sales support, technical management and professional services for the entire range of (Zeutschel´s) products, done by: overhead scanners for books and documents, microfilm cameras, microfilm plotter, and software solutions for digital image quality control.
Siav, a long time user of Zeutschel scanning equipments in the development and promotion of digitalization projects for the historical, cultural and artistic heritage preservation, conservation and publication, becomes sole distributor in Italy of a primary importance product (overhead scanners) for the Cultural Goods. For this reason the Paduan company, the only Italian enterprise in the Magic Quadrant of Gartner, which groups 24 top IT companies in the world, has created an apposite division, the "Imaging Division", within the “Dipartimento Beni Culturali”, with the purpose of managing the hardware and software products dedicated to digitalizing and microfilming activities. The aim of the new division will be promoting the pre and post sale marketing and management of professional overhead scanners for paper documents and books, microfilm and microfiche scanners, stations for the microfilming and microfilm for direct conversion from a digital source.
