"Our customers can rely on us to complete all their time-critical orders on schedule," explains Zeutschel Managing Director Jörg Vogler .
´Made in Germany´
In order to meet the great demand, the Tübingen company has expanded its production capacities and hired new employees. "The zeta production is running at full speed,“ according to Jörg Vogler. New production processes ensure that higher quantities of scanners can be manufactured in shorter periods of time on the one hand . On the other hand, they make that very attractive price of the new Zeutschel overhead scanner possible.
The development of both devices as well as the production including quality control take place at the company headquarters in Tübingen-Hirschau. And a large portion of the required components are from regional suppliers.
"Like all other Zeutschel overhead scanners, zeta is ´Made in Germany´. For our customers worldwide that means quality on the highest level," Jörg Vogler emphasises.
Overwhelming market response
Both devices have caused a stir in the market since their introduction at the CeBIT in March. The Handelsblatt magazine elected zeta the ´Idea of the day´.
"The response has been overwhelming," Jörg Vogler reports. "We have reached our goal of selling 300 pieces until the end of the year.“ Never before in the company´s history have there been so many advance orders for overhead scanners according to Jörg Vogler.
OS 15000 and zeta combine high functionality and easy operation with a fancy design and an attractive price. While the zeta with its integrated touch screen is positioned as a copier alternative in the public library sector as well as the entire office environment, the OS 15000 with its book carriage and the powerful Omniscan 12 software has been designed for electronic incoming mail solutions for authorities or digitisation projects in libraries, archives and museums.
